Digging Deep with Serious Commitment to the Future
Kim Erion and her family, Jim and Malin are very proud to serve as volunteers. Kim has been talking with groups like the Gifford Pinchot Task Force, Northwest Ecosystems Alliance, the Columbia Gorge Community of VIPs, Oregon Trout’s Salmon Watch Program, Ducks Unlimited and the first year opening of the Canyon Creek Middle School Outdoor School. She talks about the importance of Watershed awareness and stewardship. Taking students and groups into the field to help monitor forest and stream health on LKE CORPORATION completed projects is always well received and fun. She teaches riparian investigation, about her restoration processes and the lessons we learn along the way. Her dedication has been recognized and awarded by Oregon Trout and GP TASK FORCE.
Jim, Kim & Malin spend countless hours with many committees fundraising for waterfowl conservation with Ducks Unlimited. They are proud recognized sponsors in Oregon, Washington, feather society members and also have been recognized and awarded for their efforts for wetlands preservation. Malin Erion, herself is a legacy greenwing member and in 2006 received a youth unselfish dedication and significant contributions to waterfowl conservation award as well as helping lead opening ceremonies at the 2007 National Convention for Ducks Unlimited in Alaska.
